Millennium Philcon Filking

Filk is a spice in the stew of Worldcon. There will be concerts from people you've heard of, and people you haven't heard of but should. There will be a special Gordy Dickson/Poul Anderson memorial filksing on Sunday evening after the Hugos. The Three Weird Sisters will be releasing their first album, Rite the First Time. And, of course, plenty of plain old open singing into the night.

In addition, we'll be holding a WorlDream recording session. The WorlDream project is the brainchild of well-known filker Steve Macdonald and is a way for filkers worldwide to sing together. It consists of one song which will be recorded at every filkcon in calendar 2001, in addition to Worldcon. All the various takes will be mixed into one grand version.
