Millennium Philcon Art Show
1011 New Hope St. 19B

March 24, 2001
Dear Artist,
The Millennium Philcon will take place August 30 to September 3, 2001, at the Philadelphia Convention Center in Center City, Philadelphia. We feel that the Millennium Philcon will be an outstanding Worldcon and we wish to invite you to participate in this convention.
The Millennium Philcon's Art Show will be in the new Convention Center. Our exhibit hall is spacious, well lit, easy to secure, and adjacent to the dealers' room and programming areas. Our pegboard panels are supported by a framework of pipes arranged in U-shaped bays 6' deep and 6' across. One full panel is 4' high and 6' wide. Each artist may reserve a maximum of three panels (one full bay) or a portion of a panel: ½ (4' x 3'). Our tables are 6 feet x 30 inches and are available in full or ½ tables only.
Both flat and 3-D artwork will be accepted for display and sale in the Art Show. There will be a Print Shop where multiple copies of prints, as well as a display copy, may be sold. There is a hanging fee as delineated in the Art Show Rules. Eight written bids will be required for entry in the voice auction on Sunday afternoon. A "Price After Closeout" feature will be available for those who wish to use it.
There will be a charity auction to benefit ASFA on Sunday. (Donations of artwork for the auction will be gratefully accepted and are tax deductible!) There will be an Artists' Reception late Friday evening in the Art Show.
We invite you to personally attend our convention. Babysitting should be available; please tell Art Show and/or Registration if you'll need it for your children. An attending membership is $170 until July 18, 2001, $180 until August 15, 2001, and more at the door.
If you are unable to attend the Millennium Philcon, you may be represented by an agent, with written authorization from you. Mailed-in art will be accepted only with prior approval by and arrangement with the Art Show Directors: the artist must be a supporting member of the Millennium Philcon.
A copy of the Art Show rules is enclosed. Please read it thoroughly.
Please complete, sign and date the enclosed Art Show registration form and return it before July 15, 2001. Register early to be assured of display space.
We look forward to your participation and presence at the Millennium Philcon.
